Majulah Singapura!

Majulah Singapura!
(Onward Singapore!)

Day 0:
6:00 PM - Home
Excited magpack! ^____________^

Day 1:

3:00 PM - Nanyang Technological University
Sa NTU, natutunan ko ang SG Lesson #1: EXCELLENCE.

Ang gaganda ng buildings and facilities nila. Parang Unibersidad ng Pilipinas pero 20-30 yrs from now. Hehe.

Di ko makakalimutan nung kinanta yung "One people. One nation. One Singapore." Edwin about "How to Gain an Undivided Heart" at yung email ni Kuya Aaron sa YLEAD about "Unity".

Day 2:
9:00 AM - College Green/National University of Singapore

Tumulong kami sa paglilipat nila Ate Pam at ng mga naging housemates nila sa College Green, where they stayed for 2 weeks.

from College Green...
...to NUS.

4:30 PM - Sunday Service @ Ate Pam's Place

Attendance: Diana, Kuya Raden, Ate Pam, and me!

God met us during that service. He spoke words of comfort, encouragement, and peace to each one of us. I will treasure those precious moments in my heart. :)

6:00 PM - ION Mall (DAISO)

After the service, we went to Ion Mall to buy stuffs at DAISO. Sumama sa amin ang aming mga bagong friends na sila Merci (exchange student to NUS from Ateneo), at si Quynh (exchange student from Vietnam).

Day 3:
9:00 AM - Luge & Sky Ride

Day 3 pa lang pala tayo, nagbabasa pa ba kayo? Hehe. Luge & sky ride: "Once is never enough" daw. HEHE. OK, fast track tayo!

10:00 AM - Cable car
Cable Car to Universal Studios

10:30 AM - Universal Studios
Hello to Mr. Black&White

9:00 PM - Songs of the Sea

Ay eto. Masaya yung sa Songs of the Sea! Nakakarelax. Sulit yung libre! HAHA. ^__^

Day 4:
9:00 AM - Snow City

Ang mahal bilhin nung pictures sa loob! HAHA. So ayan, yung sa labas ng lang. =p

1:00 PM - Chinese Garden

9:00 PM - Sky Garden
Appreciating the beauty of the city at night. :)
OTW to Marina Bay
Ang sakit na ng paa namin dito. Kaya nagpaa na kami ni Dhes. SG LESSON #3: WALK THE EXTRA MILE. It surprised me how Singaporeans walked a lot!!! Though they have MRTs and buses, ang haba pa rin ng nilalakad nila!!! There was even one time I tried staring at every girl's leg at the MRT station to look for varicose veins! And mind you, I did see a lot! HAHA. But what amazed me most about it was that, NO ONE COMPLAINS! I think it speaks about their character: Singaporeans are a people of perseverance, longsuffering, discipline, and excellence. There's so much to learn from them. :)

Day 5:
8:00 AM - Bugis Junction & Bugis Market
Food trip mag-isa at namili ng pasalubong. =D

5:50 PM - Changi Airport
Upon leaving, I meditated on the goodness of God and the many things He has taught me during our short stay in Singapore. I thank God for giving me a gentle rebuke by letting me see a people of excellence and for teaching me how I can be pleasing to Him if only I (SG LESSON #4:) COMPLAIN LESS AND DO MORE .

Majulah Adelle! :)

Home-bound!

Thank You Lord! ^__^

So he answered and said to me:
“ This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel:
‘ Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the LORD of hosts.
7 ‘ Who are you, O great mountain?
Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!
And he shall bring forth the capstone
With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”’”
Zechariah 4:6-7
