God Builds the Family

"The family should be a closely knit group. The home should be a self-contained shelter of security; a kind of school where life’s basic lessons are taught; and a kind of church where God is honored; a place where wholesome recreation and simple pleasures are enjoyed." (--Billy Graham, "My Answer”)

Family. How important is the home? Our family is the functional unit of society. It is where the basic foundations of a school, government, and church are established. And if the foundation is weak, any structure built on it will not last.

"Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain." (--Psalm 127:1, NIV)

Brethren, no matter how hard we try, if God is not our Architect, our efforts will all be eventually rendered useless. Is that not an encouragement instead, my dear friends? We actually don't have to exhaust ourselves by hitting the wind. God will plan, He will lead, and we will follow. L
et's cease from working with our own hands and allow God to lead us.

Let's praise the Lord that He alone is our BUILDER! Hallelujah!

God bless our families! ^__^
