my two cents on the Ondoy experience.

Just when you thought you've already offered all you can to help,
you find out someone has given more.
Just when you thought you've had the most heartbreaking story to share,
you find out someone has experienced worse.
Just when you're you thought everything is hopeless,
you look at this person whom you know has lost everything,
you see him praising God cause He's still alive
Then something intangible grips your heart
You realize the things you ought to be thankful for
And that's enough to keep you going...
